THE LARGEST AND BEST PUB QUIZ IN AUSTRIA
(AND POSSIBLY THE WORLD)

On a pub quiz night, approximately 10 teams of 2-8 people compete against one another in a wide range of trivia, including pop. culture, movies, music, history, geography, art, science, math, and more. Questions are aimed at a European audience and asked in English, but may be repeated in German. Answers may be written in German or in English. There are many prizes to be won throughout the night.

NarrenCastl's Pub Quizzes are split into seasons. Seasons last for about 4 months, and consist of 5-6 unique quizzes. Each of these quizzes is offered multiple times, allowing every team a chance to play. Throughout the season, your scores are added together and contribute to your overall score of the season, which then determines your rank on our in-house leaderboard. At the end of the season, the top teams are invited to the Grand Finale, where they will compete to be crowned Grand Champions.

The pub quizzes are made possible via your generous tips. These tips allow Jon (our quiz host) to spend excessive time planning, creating, and hosting Austria's best pub quiz. Towards the end of a night, a tip jar will be passed round. The recommended tip is between 5 to 10 Euros per person.

The quiz begins at 7pm, and typically ends at around 9:30pm. However, Friday and Saturday quizzes follow a different schedule (see calendar).

When NarrenCastl offers a pub quiz, they offer the same quiz multiple times, allowing every team a chance to play. Of course, each team member can only attend each unique quiz once.

Booking

Please use the calendar below to book for our pub quizzes. The date at which the booking opens is written in the description.

Please keep in mind that quizzes on Friday or Saturday contain two times: 17:30 - 20:00 and 20:30 - 23:00. After the first quiz, guests will be kindly asked to leave so that we can prepare for the second quiz.

If you are a new team, you will receive a WhatsApp message from Jon (this may take a few days) confirming your reservation. If you ever need to cancel your reservation, or change the size of your team, it is very important to inform Jon via WhatsApp. We are a very small bar, so increasing or decreasing your team size by just 1 or 2 can make a considerable difference. It's fine to change, but let me know if advance! :)
